Job description / Role
An opportunity with a Global player and a pioneer in offshore accommodation and project services in a Senior capacity. As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the Middle East & African regions across the offshore/chartering industry (wind, oil & gas and mining) to introduce the scope of services on offer.
Your role would involve mapping the market across all offshore projects in the region, chartering activities, concept development and marketing the business across the offshore industry. Leveraging on your experience and network within the industry will be the key to success in this capacity
Requirements
- Should possess 6+ years of experience in a Sales/Business Development role in the offshore industry (wind/Oil&gas/mining) in the region ideally.
- Documented chartering and / or vessel procurement results from the offshore industry.
- Technical background in engineering or shipping.
- Prior experience with large scale contract negotiation and tenders.
- Extensive industry knowledge from the offshore / maritime markets.
- Fluent in English written and spoken.
