Senior Buyer - ACE - Regional Office, Dubai

The Senior Buyer will form an integral part of the buying function in the achievement of purchasing objectives. Your role will be based in the ACE Head Office, located in Dubai Festival City and you will be part of a team which consists of 5 Buying Assistants, 6 Senior Buyers and reports into the Head of Buying.

As part of the Buying Team, you will be responsible for sourcing innovative products domestically and internationally via attendance at trade shows, conventions and vendor/factory visits with the best possible price and in line with the range plan, the company's strategic objectives and current marketing activity.

With a strong, solid background in purchasing and supply chain management, the candidate will take a proactive approach in reviewing merchandise ranges, making recommendations and implementing changes.

The role will have a clear project focus, supporting the buying function at a strategic level to help achieve goals required to excel existing and new range development.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have 6 – 8 years experience in a Buying role within a large retail brand and possess excellent skills in planning, negotiation, supply chain management, merchandise management, and good working knowledge of SAP. You will have a high level of market awareness, analytical ability, decision making, strategic thinking, teamwork & leadership.
