This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing claims function within one of the leading western consultancy's in the Middle East.

Senior Claims Consultant – Dubai – Mace International

You will be in a leading role, working with the Mace International Head of Contracts & Disputes.

Mace International have always provided Claims and Disputes advice to our broad range of clients around the world. Due to increasing success and volume of work we require a talented professional to join our team and help drive this division forward.

The remit is to build on existing relationships, developing the Claims & Disputes offering to our clients.

We have the structure, the client base and the systems in place and require an ambitious, self starter that has the ability to produce an extremely high quality of work and the belief to drive this expanding business forward.

Many of our Programme, Project & Cost Management commissions all have a Claims & Disputes component to their contract. We now provide dedicated, experienced professionals to ensure our clients are protected and advised correctly throughout the life-cycle of their scheme.

Equally, we have many clients that are unique to our Claims & Disputes division with a significant pipeline of work.

We require an experienced Claims Consultant that can develop the strategy with our clients, present them with appropriate options and manage their claims and disputes effectively. This is a hands on client facing role.

It is essential that the successful applicant has experience in preparing claims for contractors as well as defending claims from contractors or sub consultants.

Successful candidates will have a background in Contract Writing and Contracts Administration along with extensive experience in Claims Strategy, ADR, Dispute Prevention and Resolution (Litigation, Arbitration, Mediation and Adjudication) are also essential.

You will have a broad knowledge of claims including Claim Writing and Preparing Claim Narratives, Claim Management, VO’s Management, Prolongation Cost, Claim / VO Substantiation, Disruption Claims and Amendment of the Contract Negotiations.

Requirements

- Degree qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Claims Qualifications or Professional Memberships are preferred but not essential.
- Must have experience with well recognized, blue-chip construction organisations on major projects.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to write and manage the claims for and against major construction organisations.
