Are you an experienced commercial professional looking to explore a new challenge in luxury kids and women’s wear in the Middle East?
We are currently hiring a Senior Commercial Executive with 4 to 5 years of women’s wear experience to join the Regional Ralph Lauren team based in Dubai.
As a senior commercial executive you will be responsible for developing the turnover of the Ralph Lauren Women’s and Kids wear brand throughout the region, based on pre-defined objectives and budgets. Your tasks will include:

• Conducting market visits in the region in order to keep all parties informed of key trade and competitor developments
• Preparing the yearly budget (internal) and by season according to the previous season sell out
• Entering all the related orders in the system
• Developing country specific strategies and plans dependant on local market place and the competitive environment
• Liaising with the supplier / client / 3d for any boutique / shop ‘n’ shop or identified corner opening
• Assessing monthly the P&L per brand/country insuring profitability
• Ensuring that all agents achieve their monthly and annual budgets
• Following up closely all clients’ accounts in terms of ordering, budgets, stock and retail pricing
• Solving all problems related to the commercial, logistic and marketing side of the assigned brands (goods to be returned, quality problems, payment)
• Following up the sales versus targets, versus budget
• Following up with the account all the outstanding commissions
• Following up on consultants’ performance, incentives, and bonuses in every country
• Following up of credit collection and overdue invoices settlement
• Approaching new clients, seeking new accounts and quoting special enquiries to ensure dynamic growth of the brands
• Checking and maintaining high quality merchandising of all outlets and studying the market condition, competition and opportunities
• Negotiating current and new proposed point of sales in terms of location, profitability, exposure and market share
• Presenting the new products and collections to customers
• Co-operating with the Marketing team.
• Reporting activities such as but not limited to:
• Defining a tracking sheet ‘’check-list’’ to be fulfilled and followed up at each visit with the shop manager
• Issuing a consolidation report of qualitative info per brand /per supplier /per country
• Issuing a monthly sales report per country/agent and commercial line, in order to evaluate and analyse strategies and position of the brand
• Creating and updating a ‘’Products Catalogue’’ for the best seller
• Issuing an ‘’Activity report‘’ for the supplier
• Issuing a seasonal detailed report summarizing the positive and negative points, achievement vs. Budget, etc. including feedback from clients.

Requirements

Education
• Degree or certification in business or marketing

Previous Experience
• 3 to 5 years of relevant luxury women’s wear experience is essential
• Additional experience in kids wear is preferable
• Exposure to strategic digital marketing planning
• Experience with both retail & wholesale activities

Linguistic Skills
• Excellent English is required
• Arabic is preferable but not required
• Italian is preferable but not required
