Employment: Full Time

The Role At this level, a Senior Executive Reward Consultant will have proven expertise within this specialist field. They should be able to utilize their internal and external network enabling effective self-management. At this level, it is anticipated that consultants not only add value through their own bottom line (business development and billed revenue), but utilize their knowledge to support broader commercial effectiveness through project and client management and through contributing to the technical development and quality of the reward service line offer.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively build relationships with organisations in order to assist in the identification, development and closure of sales opportunities
- Deliver individual revenue budget by achieving target number of billing days
- Support sales development by understanding and articulating the client need and then shaping opportunities that demonstrate both profitable pricing and a compelling business proposition
- Support service line development by identifying opportunities to present the business's range of reward propositions to the market
- Maintain long term client relationships in order to generate ongoing revenue streams
- Deliver high quality work as assessed by clients/colleagues
- Undertake advanced level work focussing on the reward service line
- Support CRDs in developing business from important clients or CRD of smaller clients
- Develop and orchestrate medium-sized relationships with own client base
- Involve colleagues in business development and business delivery, delegating opportunities as appropriate
- Sales credits c. $300-$500K as a function of ‘role’
- Lead and coordinate business development and knowledge of reward in designated geographic area

The Senior Executive Reward Consultant will be a member of the reward core network team in the Middle East Region, they will be required to actively contribute to the development of the group's regional capability and the reward offer whilst also acting as the communication channel between their area team colleagues and the core network team
- Coach and mentor colleagues in designated area team in reward in order to increase consultant expertise (in delivery) and familiarity/confidence (in client business development interactions)
- Ensure project management reviews take place and learning is shared with the area team members and amongst the reward core network team
- Develop a strong internal reputation and network of consultants from the group
- Compliance with internal systems; Star, etc.
- Establish/maintain own internal ‘brand’
- Demonstrate a range of Emotional Intelligence competencies at appropriate levels and achieve key differentiating competency levels
- Maintain and grow own expertise and experience to continually add value to the organisation
- Provide Quality Assurance (QA) support in accredited areas of reward to ensure consistency and quality or deliver accredited expertise without a significant QA requirement from others
- Authority in the reward service line (in particular) and also on projects and as a CRD
- May manage major projects under general guidance
- Thorough understanding of the whole offering of the group and ability to discuss these at senior levels and to demonstrate the ability to integrate service line offers to present a cohesive business solution
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership in designated area through public/client presentations, articles or press briefings
- Display brand values

Requirements

- Graduate or equivalent with 7-10 years’ relevant work experience in executive reward in either a line role or consulting firm with a strong preference for experience in European or North American executive reward market
- Experience in the design and implementation of annual and long-term incentive plans
- Deep technical and analytical skills with sound knowledge of Excel and data modelling
- Good understanding of company financials – able to read and interpret P&Ls, balance sheets etc.
- Thorough understanding of corporate governance in major Western markets, especially in relation to remuneration governance and disclosure
- Able to demonstrate maturity and credibility with senior executive management
- Strong report drafting skills, able to express and present complex ideas clearly
