Job description / Role
A leading procurement solution provider are currently looking for a 3x Senior Technology/Procurement Consultant’s to display a robust understanding for the benefits of procurement technologies such as; Procurement Analytics, Auctions, Strategic Sourcing and eSourcing. You will support with their procurement technology implementations and deliver transparent project plans for clients based on their needs.
The role;
- Assists clients throughout the adoption lifecycle of the procurement technology suite of supply management technologies, from project management, engagement workshops and technical configuration through to short and long term operational end-user support at client sites and remotely.
- Displays a robust understanding and enthusiasm for the benefits of procurement enabling technologies, including Procurement Analytics, Strategic Sourcing, Auctions, Contract and Supplier Management.
- Demonstrate experience of consulting skills, such as problem solving, influencing, workshop facilitation, and delivering presentations to a wide range of audiences.
- Exhibits use of best practice project management methodologies with a hands-on approach to project delivery.
- Responsible for the overall transparency of project deliverables through the life cycle phases from development to delivery.
- Keep team appraised via project plans, meetings and discussion minutes of project tasks identified, tasks to be completed, and work not completed.
- Develop trusted relationships with existing clients, and relevant prospects, through understanding of their business needs, challenges and expectations – at organisation and individual levels
- Rapidly become a hands-on expert in the technology portfolio, with a specific focus on delivering successful implementations – and happy clients.
- Support clients in maximising their Return on Investment from the technologies, through effective on-site deployment, user guidance and support.
- Identify and confidently communicate (written and verbal) relevant solutions that will benefit the client
- Manage scope changes and change requests escalating internally and externally as necessary
Requirements
- You must be able to speak Arabic – If not, please do not apply.
- You will have experience of general technology platform implementations or Procurement technology platform implementations of some form.
- Solid and proven experience of implementation, adoption support and/or use of two or more procurement enabling technologies: Procurement Analytics, Strategic Sourcing, Auctions, Contract and Supplier Management, P2P, eSourcing.
- Solid and proven Procurement related experience (as a solution provider, consultant or practitioner); an understanding of regulated procurement environments is beneficial.
- Solid and proven project management and customer relationship experience in a technology solutions or consulting environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies, delivery of complex technology and stakeholder engagement projects and understanding of quality control, change management and communications.
- Experience with end-user activities, such as category sourcing events, e-Auctions, supplier on-boarding activities.
