Job description / Role
This role is for an experience individual to work with in the Policy Servicing Team and who will be responsible for contributing to the processing of post policy administration and handling enquiries in relation to policy servicing to meet with the agreed service level, accuracy and company requirements
- Handle incoming enquiries and servicing issues on policy servicing matters
- Handle policy servicing transactions – screening of policy servicing requests, follow up on outstanding requirements, prepare endorsement (if any) and notice to policyholders, perform quality check and maintain record of policy servicing transactions.
- Service Standard Commitment – assist to achieve the required service standard for policy servicing and claims.
- Supervise and provide training and guidance to team members.
- Problem investigation and provide feasible & fit for purpose solutions to team leader
- Act as a role model
- Ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to (including TCF, DPA and Group Data requirements
- Working towards being technically competent in all areas of policy servicing
- Assist to identify process improvement requirements and participate in user acceptance testing where applicable.
- Perform any ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned.
- Assist in producing necessary operations reports and analysis for management information
- Participate in user acceptance testing where applicable.
- Build relationships with Sales & Relationship Consultants
Requirements
– U graduate or above; FLMI or ACS
– Post secondary or higher
– Proven experience and evidence of operating in insurance operations or policy servicing fields
– Knowledge of insurance products and operations
– Knowledge of operations and policy servicing
Skills:
– Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS office applications
– Supervisory, Training & Communication
– Policy Servicing
Desirable:
– Analytics, presentation, training
– Non medical underwriting
- Knowledge of the international protection & investment marketplace.
– Knowledge of insurance products and operations, medical underwriting
- An understanding of the product offerings of international competitors (local and offshore) and unique selling points of each.
- Interpersonal skills – ability to work in a core team to ‘get the job done’ and build effective relationships.
- Strong attention to detail
