We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our clients as a Senior Design Manager within their Dubai office. Our client is an established developer specializing in high-luxury projects globally who due to continued growth and projects are looking for an addition to their team.

The ideal individual must have experience working for a developer within the GCC and will be responsible for leading the design and development of projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and exceed client expectations.

Senior Design Manager responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design team to ensure timely and successful completion of projects
- Oversee the entire design process from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and practical design solutions that align with the company's vision and goals
- Review and approve design concepts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and client requirements
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of design implementation and address any design-related issues or challenges
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design proposals, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet client expectations
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in design and construction to incorporate innovative ideas and approaches into our projects

Requirements

Experienced required:
- 6+ years experience as a Design Manager
- Experience with a GCC developer on residential projects – ideally villa experience
- In-depth knowledge of design principles, building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to interact with diverse stakeholders including clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- A creative and strategic mindset, with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and delivering exceptional design outcomes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
