Senior Development Engineer

Job description / Role

WRS is currently searching for a Senior Development Engineer for our EPC client in the U.A.E.

Basic functions:
- Studies, monitors and co-ordinates development of capital investment projects involving modifications or new installations of systems in existing plant facilities.
- Develops design details / specifications, cost estimates, tender documents and evaluates bidders and technical bids.
- Coordinates, administers and implements projects including variations, closeout of Provisional Acceptance Certificates and Final Acceptance Certificates.
- Participates in in-house HAZOP reviews and ensures compliance with applicable Engineering standards.
- Provides technical support for major activities in various departments.
- Facilitates implementation of WSO/Contracts.
- Coordinates finalisation of annual budget and monitors implementation.

Requirements

- B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 9 years` experience in plant engineering, design and project management, preferably in the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
- Good working knowledge of relevant computer applications and software / development system.
- Good written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic language is preferable.
- Analytical and precise communication skills.
