Search have been assigned to a position with one of the leading law firms based in Abu Dhabi who are seeking a Senior level Dispute Attorney who has a focus on construction matters.

Abu Dhabi has been blessed with a number of high level construction and infrastructure projects. Fortunately for our client a number of the contractors involved use them as outside counsel, especially for dispute matters with suppliers, fellow contractors, and occasionally, clients.

The client is seeking a dedicated construction lawyer whose focus is dispute matters. They want an individual who is familiar with the market, knows how to work in the region, has personally worked on a number of high end disputes themselves and seeking to remain/ step into Private Practise.

Requirements

Construction lawyers who fit the above profile will ideally be familiar with all forms of dispute resolution ideally in the UAE. However this is not a pre-requisite as long as they have some level of exposure to Litigation and Arbitration matters in a common law jurisdiction.

The client has requested candidates have actually managed and ran with transaction from start to finish. They have received a number of applications of more junior attorneys whom have worked on transactions but not overseen nor managed them. These have, as a result, been unsuccessful in their applications.

The salary they are seeking to offer is between 50,000 to 60,000 AED / £110,000 - £130,000 plus medical, flights, insurance and a discretionary bonus.
