Senior Electrical Designer - Offshore

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of design and detail drawings from sketches, plans or other design / specification data and vendor drawings
- Ability to coordinate with design team of other disciplines for interdisciplinary interaction
- Site visits and data collection for design
- Preparation of SLD, Schematics, interconnection diagrams
- Preparation of electrical layouts for electrical equipment, power, cable routing, earthing, lighting and hazardous area classification
- Conversant with design of HV substations up to 33 kV
- Preparation of MTO, Cable schedule and load list
- Familiarity with international codes and standard
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the company Quality Assurance system

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum qualifications - Diploma in Electrical engineering
- Strong experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems on Offshore O&G Projects preferably with ADNOC
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Exposure to offshore oil and gas facilities
- Experience with PDMS/PDS system would be an advantage
- Preference to candidates with good overall experience in engineering consultancy organisations
