Senior Electrical Engineer – Street Lighting & Traffic Signal Design

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out Lighting and Traffic Signals designs independently and assist Junior Engineers on the technical issues.
- Liaise with Approving Authorities such as DEWA, RTA, Private Developer Clients, etc.
- Ensure that all designs are prepared in accordance with the latest international standards and must be able to coordinate all the activities required for obtaining approvals.
- Produce designs and verify the drawings to ensure timely submission for NOC approvals from the Authorities and Clients.
- Within the organization, liaise with other sections, departments and other engineers to prepare a well-coordinated design.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
- 15 years post graduate experience with a very strong technical background on all issues related to lighting and traffic signals and electrical systems.
- Well-versed with the International standards, local regulations and Client requirements in UAE. Should have approval from Local Authorities for the Lighting & Traffic Signals and Electrical System design works.
- Affiliation with internationally recognized institutes / standard bodies in the field of Lighting and Traffic Signals will be an additional benefit.
- Proven ability to perform independently.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
