About the Job
- Plans and coordinates all aspects of testing procedures associated with Drilling Rigless Well Testing operations and monitors execution of approved programmes and initiates necessary changes to optimize the operationaltime and cost.
- Ensures proper follow up of day to day and continuous improvement in drilling Rigless well testing operation.

Key Accountabilities
- Plan, program, schedule and coordinate the execution of Rigless well testing activities on the Riglesspackage(s).
- Maintain day to day relationships with Customers, internal Service Providers and Service Contractors to enable smooth and efficient progress of the drilling Rigless testing operations.
- Responsible for the testing operations of wells, taking into account well integrity, Asset Team objectives, past experience and Well testing standards and policies.
- Contribute in well testing studies in the Asset Teams in Directorates. Contribute to and progress the Asset Team Well testing Proposals and give expert advice on new techniques and/or technologies to the Asset Teams.
- Make time and cost estimates; schedule materials; communicate and review specific operations with the Rigless Contractors and Service Contractors; solicit feedback and prepare Drilling Rigless well testing programs ahead of the actual operations.
- Collect Rigless packages operational, financial and well performance data and participate in monthly, quarterly and annual review with management and customers.
- Prepare the Rigless testing of wells in conformance with the Corporate/Functional Code of Practices and Procedures, including structured risk analysis for high exposure operations.
- Ensure the fully compliance with HSE requirement such as TRAs, SSSP, rigless weekly visits, PTW audit, academies, weekly observations and Flaring approval as well as all HSEIA requirements.
- Review all incidents occurred on Rigless package(s) and assist in the investigation of all LTI incidents for all drilling and service contractors.
- Enhance the design and programming quality of drilling Rigless well testing activities by optimising proven techniques and practices and implementing new technology and innovative operating methods; evaluate and report results; contribute to the development, upgrading and maintenance of drilling and completion standards.
- Set and manage Lump sum turnkey campaign Scope of Work with all related activities and manage unconventional drilling and testing activities (UBD, MLT, and multi stage frac.) Manage project cost control and rig schedule.
- Report and update with the Drilling and well operations activities related to the Biogenic Shallow Gas project to ensure conformity with plan and program.
- Lead and direct the Drilling Integrated Project Management teams of the assigned service companies to execute ADNOC Exploration Biogenic Gas wells in line with the plans.
- Endorse and approve the Drilling programs, well plans provided by the LSTK/IPM teams and endorse and approve the AFE for the subjected wells.
- Define the Full Field Development Plans and the exploration requirements through working closely with the Petroleum Engineers, Reservoir Engineers and Petrophysicists.
- Advises as necessary the Exploration Function in all drilling related matters in terms of planning, well prognosis and technical requirements.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering or relevant Engineering degree
- At least 8 years related experience in Drilling / Workover Engineering and Operations in an oil and gas facility
- Previous experience with the OPCOs, preferably in the UAE both from rig activities both from offshore and from the office
- Experience in Drilling new technologies (UBD, MPD,CTD , and ERD)
- Professional user of any drilling software, Landmark package is preferred.
- Experience in business planning (Wells and Drilling Operations).
- Proven track of leading drilling teams either operations or engineering
