About the Company

We are one of ADNOC's gas producers, a market leader in sour gas field development, and a major international sulfur producer. We have the capacity to produce over 1 billion cubic feet of sour gas per day.

We are a joint venture company between ADNOC, which owns a 60% share, and Occidental Petroleum (OXY), which owns a 40% share. We were established in 2010 to maximize the value of the Shah Gas Field. Since then, we have built a reputation as a reliable supplier of gas and one of the world's leading sulfur producers.

We are helping to deliver ADNOC's strategic imperative to increase the gas supply to the UAE. We aim to meet the growing gas requirements of the nation, and strengthen our position as a major international sulfur producer.

About the Role:

Assesses the condition of fields' equipment and facilities using up to date methods & techniques of non-destructive examination as required by the referencing codes. Maintains up to date inspection records, coordinates with other Department personnel, organize and follows-up inspection activities, involves in the planning, scheduling and execution of inspection jobs, foresees inspection requirements.
- Prepare of inspection plan & schedule based on historical data / RBI study and coordinate with Plant Availability Division to forecast requirements like scaffoldings, insulation removal, crane to carryout various inspection activities during online.
- Provides appropriate testing techniques and reports inspection observations, abnormalities and recommendations attached with relevant documents like check lists, detail assembly drawings, sketches, indicating specific defects to the concerned Departments.- Raises & reviews maintenance work orders for necessary corrective / preventive actions based on inspection recommendations. Closes the work order after ensuring job completion.
- Coordinates with material analysis, hardness testing, and coating thickness check, ferrite testing of spares & assemblies various suppliers and during fabrication, maintenance and overhaul, re-conditioned parts, modification works as well as new installation of parts, piping, and equipment. In case of discrepancy, ensures all inspections prior to report issue.
- Reviews of final QC dossier from contractors & Coordinates with third party inspection agencies for executing specialized inspection jobs.
- Prepares WPS (welding procedure specification), WPQ (welder qualifications). Witnesses welder qualification tests and prepares certifications of welders qualified for approval by Asset Integrity.
- Performs Technical Evaluations, preparation of inspection Scope, and checklists for inspection coordination of external inspection contractor jobs.

Supervision
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets
- Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
- Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section's / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the function in line with the Company

Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor Degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent.
- Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 8 years of experience in Inspection/metallurgy etc
