Senior Estimator

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our construction team in UAE-Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs associated with construction projects, analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. The Senior Estimator will play a key role in ensuring that our construction projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather and analyze all necessary information related to project costs
- Conduct on-site visits to gather information and assess project requirements
- Preparing Comparison Reports, BOQ, Project Summary, Variations
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements, take-off quantities from Structural and Architectural Finishes according to specifications and drawings including BOQ requisitions
- Evaluate and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
- Utilize cost databases and historical data to support cost estimates and provide input for value engineering
- Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs
- Ability to work in different Engineering firm neither Architectural nor Structural nor MEP

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in civil
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in the construction industry
- Good knowledge of engineering software’s such as AutoCad, Planswift, Primavera.
- Knowledge in ePromis ERP Software is a plus
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
