Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, policies and procedures manual, performance evaluation forms, wage notices, and on-boarding and off-boarding checklists
- Assist in collecting, confirming receipt and maintaining human resource documents, declaration forms and performance appraisals.
- Maintain Human Resource information system records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, and promotions and compile reports from these systems as needed
- Maintain and update Human Resource section of the company intranet
- Conduct recruitment efforts for the group
- Assist with updating job descriptions and writing employee requisition forms. Manage employee requisition approval process. Maintain listings of open, approved, and filled positions.
- Write and post job openings internally and externally, liaise with employment agencies and temporary agencies, review resumes, manage candidate correspondence, schedule interviews, maintain applicant log, perform reference checks
- Coordinate and execute all aspects of on-boarding a new employee including scheduling & conducting orientation, communicating with IT, Marketing and Finance; preparing new hire packets, collecting new hire paperwork, and interfacing with payroll/benefits
- Assist in organizational training and development efforts
- Maintain open and effective lines of communication with all offices & branches for answering human resource questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, etc.
- Administer the monthly payroll entries
- Initiate and manage the exit interview process
- Compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, headcount, turnover, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates
- Assists Head-HR with various research projects and/or special projects.
- Perform any other administrative or related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

- Should be a HR graduate with nearly 4-5 years of UAE experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE labor law, as well as market knowledge in respect to recruitment, compensation, turnover, etc.
- Detailed knowledge of recruiting practices including sourcing, assessment, and workforce planning.
- Detailed knowledge of performance management and appraisal systems.
- Detailed knowledge or organization development/design and training and development including supervisory and management development.
- Ability to understand and adapt to different cultures
- Intermediate to high level Excel and PowerPoint skills
