Senior Finance Analyst

Job description / Role

Honeywell ACS is seeking a senior analyst to work in the Commercial FP&A organization at headquarters to lead financial planning and analysis efforts in High Growth Regions (HGR). The selected individual will be accountable for partnering directly with ACS Marketing Leader of HGR to drive standard work, monitor and support key metrics, and improve analytical capability at the country level for HGR. This role will also liase with HGR SBU finance and global ACS FP&A team. This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and reports to the Global ACS FP&A Director, based in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop finance standard work for key financial metrics at the country level for HGR
- Lead efforts for financial support of STRAP and AOP, and build a mechanism to enhance capability to measure the impact of specific initiatives to high growth regions
- Develop specific reporting and best practices for measurement of specific HGR initiatives including export analysis and reconciliation of source vs. destination growth
- Support go-to market strategies, and tracking of multi-segment growth initiatives

Provide support and analysis for the monthly operating review process, including:
- Key Operating Statistics
- Sales Growth Analysis
- Regional and Vertical Trend Analysis

Provide business decision support and analysis for:
- NPI product launch
- Profitability outlier analysis
- Customer specific pricing analysis
- Opportunity / pursuit analytics in conjunction with sales force.com and funnel analysis
- Investment and census

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 experience of increasing responsibility with at least one previous role in financial planning or P&L ownership
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with customers and other partners
- Ability to travel, up to 25% of the time, including internationally

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with analytical tools preferred
- Previous, direct interaction with customers preferred
- Previous experience working with, sales, marketing or general management preferred
