Senior HR Generalist - Dubai

A highly innovative and progressive multinational is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their Regional HR Team in Dubai.

The role reports to the Regional HR Manager and will assist in providing HR operational and strategic support to the business across MENA. It is a very varied role and will have some focus on recruitment too.

Responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring administration of policies and procedures
• Handling all aspects of HR including, onboarding, rewards, training, employee performance and labour relations
• Managing employee lifecycle activities such as preparing contracts, promotions or pay changes and disciplinary actions
• Providing consultation on both operational and process issues which impact the business and driving suggested HR proposals
• Coaching and developing managers on handling employee relations, performance management, goal setting and other key areas
• Ensuring that all related processes defined from global HR are effectively executed on time
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement of HR service delivery
• Assisting and acting as an Advocate on employee inquiries, concerns & requirements
• Supporting the company culture and employee engagement through activities/suggestions
• Assisting managers and employees in understanding policies, systems and procedures
• Supporting the review and development of HR policies and processes
• Ensuring compliance with employment laws
• Working closely with hiring managers and HRBPs to develop effective recruitment strategies
• Sourcing supervisory level candidates via various methods
• Conducting interviews to assess candidates and partnering with managers through the whole process
• Assist with on-boarding of new employees
• Provide HR data and reporting as required

Requirements

To be considered for this role you MUST be an ARABIC speaker. You will have a degree and ideally an HR certification. You MUST have at least 6 years generalist HR experience, 3 in the region within a munltinational business and have a strong background in recruitment. Experience of working with a recruitment tracking system will be highly advantageous.
