Job description / Role
Our client, the NOC for Abu Dhabi, is looking for an experienced professional to undertake the role of HVAC and Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, coming in at a senior level.
Overseeing a skilled team, the job holder will be responsible for general management of the operation and maintenance of HVAC and Mechanical systems across several client properties. Aside from HVAC, Mechanical systems will include firefighting, central cooking, water filtering & functioning and elevators. Therefore broad experience and knowledge across these and other systems will be necessary.
Key functions to this role will be manpower planning, budgeting and forecasting, supervision of contractors, holding regular overview meetings to input preventative and corrective systems, with regular reporting back to heads of department on any progress, developments and issues.
Requirements
Candidates will need to hold a degree in mechanical engineering, which will be backed up by significant experience in similar roles, including management / supervisory knowledge. Effective communication skills and the ability to lead an international workforce will be required.
