Stantec is currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team and support on a construction supervision project of a large office building complex which will accommodate the client’s administration and operation employees. This project will have related functional and supporting facility buildings in Abu Dhabi.

This role will involve undertaking investigations, master planning, modelling, designing and tendering wet and dry infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for technical reviews, coordination and documentation, team communication, and interaction between site and head office relevant to their discipline.
• Ensure all Stantec contractual liabilities, such as quality control of construction and prompt responses for all construction documents relevant to their discipline.
• Oversee the performance of sub consultants, ensuring that quality control procedures and requirements are respectfully implemented relevant to their discipline.
• Monitor Stantec’s liability to the safety requirement of Authorities.
• Provide information relevant to any requested report and special reports as necessary relevant to their discipline.
• Review and comment to the Project Manager on separate contractor’s applications for payment, variations and claims.
• When necessary, attend off site inspections of materials.
• Provide support on completion, closeout, and handover activities, including Authority submissions, verification of completed works, and final project documentation records.
• Ensure full compliance to conditions of contracts relevant to their discipline.
• Liaison with necessary Authorities when needed.
• Provide support on creating monthly report per discipline for incorporation into Project Manager’s monthly report.
• Key experience in wet utilities and experience in project management of sustainability, waste water etc in the region

Requirements

Qualifications:

• If you have the following qualifications, we would love for you to be a part our diverse team:
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Masters degree will be an advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in master planning and design of wet and dry infrastructure, water distribution networks, and preparation of tender documents.
• Proven knowledge of the application process for obtaining No Objection Certificate (NOC) from various stakeholders in the UAE.
• Proven technical report writing skills.
• Proven client and stakeholder relationship skills.
