Job description / Role
Coordinates with Sales Team and customer on the space planning / concept development and subsequent selection of furniture.
Performs, space planning, furniture selection, case studies, product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, over sees production of as-built drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for specification and installation.
Attends clients planning meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these needs. Presents and sells design services and capabilities through personal interaction and business development.
Offers creative solutions consultation to customers.
Answers both routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
Regularly attend furniture training to ensure a thorough understanding of furniture sold within our portfolio. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction plans in conjunction with clients requirements and the contract BOQ.
Prepares presentation material including color finish boards / CGI's and mood boards.
Prepares project finishes specifications sheets, double checks specifications against plans/ BOQ's and CGI's. Works closely with client in order to get them approved.
Reviews all drawing that leave the department to make sure the meet the company design standards.
Coordinates subcontractors specialist drawings into detailed design package.
Interacts with suppliers to understand best practice installation.
Daily interaction with client account base and prospects, furniture vendors, interior design department employees, furniture personnel, sales team, order management team, and various architectural, design, and construction representatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design / Architecture
- Experience working as part of D&B company
- 5 experience in Commercial Interior
- Driving license
- Middle East Experience
