Senior Interior Designer

Adept Personal are currently recruiting for a specialist interior design company based in Europe and the Middle East. Our client has been well established for over 35 years now, in that time they have brought their knowledge and expertise into the international market where their reputable designs have been a part of the Middle Eastern, European, Asian and African landscape for the past 21 years. This is an opportunity for the chosen to take a senior role within a company that relies on a talented and committed team of designers.

This position is office based in Dubai.

Our client has a formidable design team that specialises in working with large-scale hotel projects from start to finish. They are now looking for Senior Interior Designer who can deal direct with the client and do the hands on design. They need to be capable of reporting back any news or progress to their project director, at the same time they need to be able to manage people in their team. A candidate with extensive hotel experience who shows commitment and longevity dealing with projects from concept to completion is ideal for a position such as this one.

Basic responsibilities that the candidate will be expected to carry out include:
- To prepare, and develop with the team where required, drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents relating to the design.
- To coordinate the internal design team for the project.
- To take responsibility for the development of the design and the project with input from the Associate Partner or Partner in charge for key project stages.
- To liaise, where appropriate, with members of the external design team and other associated organisations or companies.
- To seek continuing professional development.

Requirements

- Must have 10 years of professional experience
- Previous experience in the GCC
- Must be experienced with hotel projects
- Have a Bachelor Degree or higher in a relevant subject
- Previous management/supervision experience would be an advantage, but candidates must still be used to designing themselves
- Be experienced in dealing with the design process from start to finish
- Large-scale project experience
