Job description / Role
Are you an experienced Senior Interior Designer with GCC experience looking to lead and build a team under you?
My client a multidisciplinary firm delivering projects around the world is currently looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their growing team in Dubai with the intention for them to lead the design team whilst being responsible for leading and overseeing the design process for various projects. As well as, collaborating with clients, project managers, and other ID members to deliver exceptional designs that meet both aesthetic and functional goals.

Main responsibilities
Design Leadership
• Lead the design process from concept development to project completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality interior design solutions.
• Provide creative direction and guidance to the design team
Client Collaboration
• Conduct client meetings
• Translate client requirements into design concepts, creating mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations
• Present design proposals and concepts
Project coordination
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and contractors
• Create detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material selections
• Oversee the procurement and installation of FF&E
Subordinates
• Design Team
Other interactions
• Architects, Project managers, and Contractors
Working Hour
• Monday to Friday
Requirements
University Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design
Experience:
• 10 years (minimum) years of experience – GCC experience is essential
Specialist requirements / knowledge:
• Must be able to transform client requirements into innovative and functional interior design solutions
• Strong sketching skills and conceptual idea initiation
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D modelling software, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of materials, finishes, and construction techniques
