Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Join InfoVista’s dynamic in-house legal team, take in charge the Asia Middle East Africa (AMEA) region and negotiate its strategic and complex deals in a multicultural environment.

Contracts
* Draft, review and negotiate contacts with InfoVista customers in the AMEA region: NDAs, RFP/RFIs, licensing/sublicensing, distribution, system integration, cloud, managed services, OEM, hardware sales, engineering services, public sector;
* Understand InfoVista maintenance, order processing, revenue recognition standards and processes; secure internal approvals on non-standard legal, financial, technical and business issues raised in a contract;
* Participate in training initiatives by providing presentations on key legal issues; assure compliance with internal policies (anti-bribery, embargo sanctions, data-protection);
* Provide advice and contracts interpretation; assist with export-import and open source issues;
* Help in the implementation and adoption of a new contract management software tool;
* Draft, review and negotiate lease and individual contractor agreements for AMEA;
* Manage dispute resolutions and assist in the collection of overdue payments for AMEA.

Corporate
* Manage local corporate secretary matters for AMEA group companies;
* Draft AMEA intra-group loan and transfer pricing agreements;
* Lead mergers and liquidations projects e.g. act as project management with a cross functional and multi-county team; organize contract assignments and notices; co-ordinate with the EMEA finance team on tax planning.

Requirements

* Degree in law such as a bachelor of law, legal practice degree, postgraduate masters in law.
* 5-7 years in a multinational corporation or law firm, with a significant record in software licensing and experience in mergers and liquidations.
* Detailed knowledge in contract and corporate law. Working knowledge in intellectual property, open source software, international sales of hardware, data-protection and security.
* Read and understand basic financial reporting.
* Strong communication and influence skills, in writing and verbally, including the ability to concisely communicate and build relationships.
* Ability to listen and empathize with objections or concerns, while demonstrating a good assertiveness to defend InfoVista standards and interests;
* Prioritization and adaptability skills, in a fast pace environment with frequent changes in deadlines, priorities and workload;
* Ability to work autonomously, with little supervision.
* Fluency in spoken and written English; other languages including French & Arabic, an advantage.
