Job description / Role
• Advising the Country CEO and BUs Management with timely, pragmatic, relevant and risk-appropriate guidance and solutions, to ensure that the business is operated at all times in the best interest of the group
Client Details
• A leading European construction and building company, publicly listed and well known for their most advanced technologies in the industry
Description
• In charge of the legal, governance and compliance affairs of the business within the region
• Governance, policy implementation and special projects
• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to senior management with respect to matters of companies' policy, and Code of Business Conduct
• Handling all litigation's by or against the company in coordination with external counsels if needed and to avoid any new cases
• Management of employees (i.e. competition law, contracting and Code of Business Conduct, , etc)
• Responsible for the implementation of the Anti-Trust Law.
• Lead the Legal department team by setting individual objectives, formal and informal feedback and appraisal

Requirements
Candidates who apply must meet all of the following criteria:
• 5 years + post qualifying experience in a Corporate/Commercial practice or in-house role
• Experience working for a Manufacturing/Construction/Engineering company
• Ability to work independently and manage the legal department for the region
• Arabic fluency (reading and speaking)
