Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a luxury international organisation who are looking to hire a Senior Logistics Operations Coordinator to provide temporary cover for 7 weeks.
Your main responsibilities will be to liaise with the company’s shipping teams across the globe as well as the shipping company. You will act as the local shipping contact. This role also provides operational support to the business in terms of raising purchase orders, arranging payments and working closely with the General Manager, to ensure the business is functioning optimally.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be immediately available and have experience in shipping documentation and regulations in the UAE, in a role such as Logistics Coordinator, Operations Coordinator or similar. Experience within luxury is advantageous, but not essential.
