Senior Manager - Accounting Structuring

Job description / Role

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded accountant to work within our Accounting Structuring Services team. The team advises clients on a wide range of transactions, identifying issues and providing solutions in a deal environment. The applicant will be a qualified by a recognized accounting institute and have a strong understanding of IFRS. Alongside this, they should have an inquisitive and commercially minded approach to enable them to apply their technical knowledge to specific transactions and issues.

The applicant will join a wider team of highly motivated transaction specialists and would have the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions across the region including IPO’s, merger & acquisition transactions, refinancing, group reorganizations and joint venture/ investment structures. As a senior manager, the applicant would also lead the day to day delivery of projects and have good exposure to senior client personnel and other internal PwC lines of service.

Requirements

- University Degree as a minimum academic qualification
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Professional accounting firms

Skills:
- Good understanding of IFRS.
- In addition to strong IFRS technical skills, the applicant should have a strong track record of team leadership and coaching, client interaction/ management skills (including senior/ executive management), good interpersonal skills, project management (including the ability to work on a number of separate engagements at the same time) and be flexible given we operate in a deal environment.
- Ability to multi task and effectively manage their workload on a variety of transactions.
