Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for individuals to join UAE’s rapidly developing Assurance practice, at Senior Manager level.The role is to be the lead manager of the audit of a large Group operating locally and internationally. The group activity is well diversified and includes hospitality, real estate, telecom and private equity.

This role will provide you with:
- Experience in Real Estate industry
- Experience of leading a highly prestigious account
- Exposure to senior management & partners of the firm
- Exposure to current thinking in Corporate Governance & Risk Management
- Leading implementer for International Financial Reporting Standards
- Exposure to high profile complex & judgmental issues

Responsibilities:
- You will have a lead management role on the audit of a large group operating locally and internationally.
- You will provide coordination between group management and subsidiaries auditors
- You will prepare various report ( client service plan, audit status report, report to the audit committee, special report on debt compliance)
- You will gain exposure to working on a wide variety of clients operating within the same group & potentially allow you the opportunity to gain exposure to special work.
- You will also be involved with: training, managing & appraising staff
- You will oversee reviews of accounting policies
- You will be focused & initiative driven (required to maximise growth potential)
- You will be able to work autonomously without the need for day to day direction

Requirements

- CA / ACCA / CPA qualified with broad ranging audit experience including planning, controlling & completing a diverse range of assignments
- Able to work autonomously without the need for day to day direction
- Experienced in supervising & developing teams of staff
- Bilingual in Arabic and English an advantage
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues & clients at all levels
- Strong project management skills & experience of working on large group audits
- A grounding in International Accounting Standards including IFRS
- Sarbanes Oxley experience is also advantageous however not essential.
