Senior Manager - Landside / Urban Planning

Job description / Role

• The Senior Manager Landside / Urban Planning provides support to the Executive Management of Abu Dhabi Airports through the Head of Airport Planning for strategic airport planning-related technical and business goals.
• Typical responsibilities include leadership and project management across a portfolio of planning projects related to landside roads, rail, utilities and infrastructure, including demand analysis, master planning and land use planning and the development of business cases and project definition documents for capital development projects for five airports within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and may extend to airports abroad.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Science (MSc) in Urban Planning, Architecture or Civil Engineering, or
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Urban Planning and Project Management experience
• Expert knowledge of airport/urban/environmental planning practices and procedures, with a strong background in Master Planning and other related planning studies.
• Expert knowledge of urban planning and design standards, circulars and recommended practices as well as other international and local regulatory standards to ensure project compliance with national laws.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and/or other urban planning, design and/or simulation applications.
• Previous experience with Abu Dhabi regulatory authorities, such as the Department of Municipalities and Transport rules and guidelines is beneficial
• Strong analytical, presentation and writing skills
