Charterhouse is exclusively engaged with a Global Aviation Organisation to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Manager for Legal Affairs, to join their Dubai Office.

This role is heavily focused on commercial litigation with exposure to finance and contractual matters such as standard form agreements. You will be expected to provide guidance in respect to various legal matters, acting as the principle legal business partner and representative to the business.

Responsibilities will include evaluating legal policies, managing complex business matters, reviewing risk management to minimise legal risk and providing regulatory as well as compliance training. Furthermore, you will develop the company’s litigation strategies and be the primary contact for the company in litigation cases. You will have access to liabilities, restrictions, risks of transactions and mitigation strategies to create legal solutions to meet commercial needs.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor’s Degree and preferably be Common Law qualified with 8 years PQE. A strong commercial background is essential, with experience in corporate and contracts. Ideally you will have worked in Private Practice, and have some knowledge of the aviation industry.

The role will require excellent business acumen and stakeholder management skills as well as strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. You should be able to work effectively within a team, and have some managerial experience.
