Job description / Role
A major banking client based in the UAE are looking to build out their capabilities within the networking space and need an experienced Senior Manager to take on responsibility for the Network and Telecom domain.
The successful Senior Manager will be responsible for the development and management of the operation, performance, planning, development and testing modification and availability of network and telecom services.
Requirements
As such, candidates should have relevant experience working with Network, Network Security, Telecom and unified communication design and implementation.
Further to the technical aspects, the Senior Manager will be tasked with managing vendors and senior stakeholders across the bank – including department heads and director level engagement. As a result, strong communication and relationship management skills are required.
Personnel development including general day-to-day team management, career development and mentoring, as well as performance appraisals and staff motivation will also be a large part of the role and candidates are expected to be able to provide evidence of prior experience in this area.
Given the seniority of the role, candidates will require extensive experience of working within similar roles and environments and prior banking experience is essential.
