Senior Manager Roaming Segment

Job description / Role

Etisalat is looking for an experienced retail roaming (specifically with retail roaming business) professional to join its Marketing department team. Roaming Segment. Candidate will look into roaming product portfolio and develop new initiatives that meet mobile roaming customers’ requirements and continue improving their experience, meet revenue/margin targets and apply best practices.

This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Analyze and understands the overall performance of respective segment, profile the subscriber base and segment the marketplace to have a full understanding of the market needs, size, trends, profitability, etc. through analysis of KPIs and Market research.
- Carry out the product management functions including the development and evaluation of marketing business cases for roaming products portfolio including introducing new services/products and revisions to existing services/products with clear financial or customer satisfaction impact.
- Develop the product portfolio / promotions in a manner that will capitalize on the changing profiles and trends and to offset efforts made by the competition.
- Interface with Etisalat departments to ensure all prerequisites are addressed, fulfilled and carried out systematically and professionally.
- Formulate detailed marketing awareness campaigns for any launch.
- Keep abreast of all the feedback obtained from the marketplace through Customer Care or Business Centers and ensure that it is properly handled and all details are made available effectively and efficiently.
- Defines and reviews policies, procedures and guidelines related to the segment meant to improve efficiency or increase customer satisfaction.
- Analyze customers’ complaints and identify any in-house system problems that is affecting specific segment; coordinate such related investigation and ensure fixing any issue and implementation of business requirements by concerned sections.
- Report to management the performance of the portfolio in addition to flagging important events like, changes in trends, promotions performance, potential fraud, in-house systems problems, changes in profiles, etc.
- Understand the overall offering from the competition and gauge to the best of knowledge the performance of these offerings and their effects on Etisalat’s customers.
- Monitor any roaming activities, both regionally and internationally, to keep Etisalat current in this field.
- Provide training & ensure full knowledge ability and preparedness before the launch of any program.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Marketing or Engineering.
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in Retail Roaming Business
- 3 - 4 years working in Marketing - telecommunication sector
- Knowledge in postpaid, prepaid and VAS business
- English & Arabic professional
- Project management
- Drive for achievement
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Analytical, critical thinking and sound judgment skills
- Ability to build, present and obtain agreements on products
- Ability to work under pressure and against tight schedules, multitask and coordinate between cross-functional disciplines
