Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, a major listed Western multinational we are currently searching for a Senior Talent & Development Manager who as part of the L&D team will support the talent management and development of individual and organisational capability.

The selected candidate will focus on the development of both business and professional soft skills, managing a portfolio of high-impact learning solutions and working with internal stakeholders and teams to analyse and identify performance gaps organisation wide. The senior manager will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of training and learning solutions by engaging the Executive Board, managers and both internal and external suppliers to achieve and address business requirements.

Particular attention will be paid to leadership training and talent development by developing appropriate methodology and tools to identify high potential internal talent and developing leadership pathways to support high achievers as the business moves through some significant change.

Our client operates around the world and has an excellent international mobility programme. Candidates will also be assessed on promotional prospects over the next two to five years as succession planning is big part of selection for future growth.

Requirements

- Minimum of five to ten years’ direct experience in L&D within a multinational organisation
- Currently working in an L&D position/function
- Currently located in the GCC
- Excellent spoken and written English – full fluency – Arabic is a nice to have but is not a must have
- Currently working in a western multinational or the majority of their work experience in a western multinational within L&D function
- Experience designing, developing and delivering learning and training solutions
- Experience designing and delivering leadership development programs and career track assessment
- Experience developing tools and methods to support talent development assessment
- Experience in training delivery / train the trainer
- Genuine interest and up-to-date knowledge of L&D
