Job description / Role

Our client is a leading financial institution in U.A.E and seeking to recruit a Senior Manager – Transaction Monitoring Unit for their Dubai operations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage, control, monitor and report on Bank’s overall exposure to identified transactions in respect of risk and utilization against approved credit limits, quality of market price check of the underlying commodity referred therein.
• Develop a system to monitor and control in Commodity finance and identified Structured Trade and Commodity Finance transactions
• Provide a control and risk function, to monitor Commodity finance portfolio with emphasis on transaction monitoring from draw down through repayment
• To structure, co-ordinate and provide guidance for transaction that require involvement of TMU from term sheets stage to full documentation
• Identification and escalation of facility excesses and collateral shortfalls pertaining to Structured Trade and Commodity Finance
• Review Letters of Credit (both on Import and Export) and provide guidance/assessment if there are any gaps between Import and Export Leg as per the approval terms.

Requirements

Required Experience:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Structured Trade & Collateral Financing functions with a multinational Bank.
• Strong experience in full spectrum of commodities, energy (including oil), metals as well as soft commodities.
• Risk management and credit monitoring experience a must.
• Knowledge and experience in all types of commodity transaction flow as well as commodity finance structures
