Senior Managing Crypto Consultant

Job description / Role

Introduction
The Senior Managing Crypto Consultant in the IBM Europe, Middle-East and Africa Data and Application Security (DAS) Services practice is a senior advisor that can speak to the security landscape and have the ability to communicate effectively with senior members of client management and/or executive teams. The Senior Managing Crypto Consultant will assist in pre-sales, sales, closure, and then participate in the delivery of security consulting services with local teams. In addition, Senior Managing Crypto Consultants expected to provide governance and technical oversight on transformation programs and projects.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The consultant should have a depth of knowledge and experience in Data Security Governance & Strategy, Data Discovery & Classification, Data Activity Monitoring, and Data Loss Prevention, as well as Cloud Native Data Security Solutions. The consultant should be able to speak to the breadth of the security landscape as well.- Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills

- Ability to lead and shape client expectations
- Ability to research and develop new security offerings

Requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Depth of knowledge in one or more of the Data Security domains:
- Working with Data Discovery, Data Classification Data Activity Monitoring, and Data Loss Prevention solutions (on-premise and cloud)
- Working in a cloud environment, with an understanding of Information Protection, Cloud Data Loss Prevention, and Data Risk Management;

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Completion of at least 2 full project life cycle implementations of Data Security
- At least 5 years of Datas Security hands-on experience
- At least 5 years of consulting experience in a professional services organization
- Atleast 3 year of experience working on deployments to cloud
- Hands-on experience with Datas Security tools
- Understanding of Data Governance methods and tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with at least 3 full project life cycle implementations of Data Security
- At least 6 years of Data Security hands-on experience
- At least 6 years of consulting experience in a professional services organization
- Atleast 5 year of experience working on deployments to cloud
