Senior Marketing & BD Executive - Dubai

An international law firm is seeking a Senior Marketing & BD Executive to join the team in Dubai.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Job information Planning & strategy
* Working with relevant partners to assist in preparation of business and action plans for practice areas and individuals.
* Providing advice to the relevant partners and associates to support them with the development of their respective practices in line with the agreed business development objectives.
* Organising, facilitating and attending BD meetings, focus groups and some partners meetings as required.

Event Support
* Providing innovative ideas and assistance in organising BD events for practice areas, or on a client or industry basis.
* Liaising with design on invitations, programmes and other hard copy materials as needed
* Assisting with targeting specific mailing lists for events and seminars

Reputation
* Coordinating directory and award submissions in consultation with the partners for the relevant practice areas.
* Assisting the BDM to establish and deliver a targeted PR strategy, including identification of significant opportunities for PR content.
* Maintaining the BD and client sections of the Middle East intranet and the Middle East sections of the Firm's website.

Winning new business
* Where required, assisting and advising associates and partners on the preparation of proposals, including project managing panel proposals and significant pitch processes for key clients and opportunities
* Maintaining the suite of proposals infrastructure materials.
* Identifying opportunities and developing those opportunities to support the practice groups win new work

Information management
* Providing market information and intelligence and analysis of financials to identify trends and opportunities.
* Working with fee-earners to produce content for clients, marketing campaigns and marketing channels

Requirements

* Degree educated or similar level
* Minimum three years' marketing and BD experience within the legal, accountancy or oil and gas industry
* Proficient computer systems skills
* Dynamism and great all-round communication skills
* Strong Attention to detail/accuracy skills are essential
