Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To manage the execution of tactical integrated marketing plans covering all communication channels, tools and touch points, ensure brand consistency and integrity across multiple project brands throughout all collateral, campaigns, events, websites and communications locally, regionally, and internationally. To continuously develop and implement the marketing strategies across all destination, residential, retail, commercial and plots for Saadiyat and Desert Islands (Sir Bani Yas Island), as well as investor and corporate positioning strategies for TDIC.

Day-to-Day Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Marketing department providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and quality outcome of deliverables

People Management
- Direct the process of effective performance within the Marketing section by overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and a motivated work environment.

Budget Preparation and Control
- Recommend the annual budget for the Marketing section and continuously monitor the financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment and in some cases savings

EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)
- Complies with all relevant environment, health and safety procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Manage the development and implementation of the department policies, processes and procedures and recommend improvements thereof to ensure fulfilment of legislative / procedure requirements and effective implementation of controls.

Change Management
- Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Marketing processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Ad-Hoc Requests
- Performs any other related duties or assignments as directed by the Senior Director – Marketing and Communications and/or internal clients such as other departments

Marketing Tactics and Plans
- Develop Marketing strategies which align with business objectives followed by Marketing tactics and action plan which align with related departments and assign responsibilities within the internal and external resources availableDevelop and maintain tactical plan delivery schedule and lead on updates, problem solving, timely delivery, etcAssign a budget to each plan and establish an efficient tracking and reporting system for each task

Media Planning
- Develop and present marketing strategies and tactics to media planning and buying agency to receive and review all media plans prior to approval.All media plans to be reviewed and assured an integrated approach with an insight into the possible return on investment for each media plan on an overall business level.Media plans to be approved and signed by senior management prior to going liveAll media plan activities to be distributed to internal resources with an action plan for delivery deadlines
- Brand development, enhancement and maintenance
- To develop any new brands that TDIC or product portfolios may require. This will include research on naming, trademarking, logo development management and brand guidelines.To enhance and maintain existing brands and ensuring consistency of brand look and feel across all mediums

Digital Marketing
- To develop any new digital platforms required by TDIC and/or product portfolios ranging from websites, microsites, digital brochures, etcTo launch and manage direct digital campaigns via emailers, online banners etcTo maintain brand image on all social media and digital media platforms

Marketing Collaterals
- To ensure that all developed marketing collaterals such as brochures, flyers, reports, presentations, signage, outdoor billboards, roll ups , etc are in line with overall brand guidelines and marketing strategies

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related area
- Preferably Master’s Degree in a related area

Experience:
- Bachelor Degree Holder: At least 8 years of experience in a relevant field; 3 of which in managerial position, or;
- Post Graduate Holder: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field; 2 years of which in managerial position
