Senior Network Engineer - Enterprise IT - Al Futtaim Group - Dubai, UAE

- Ensure availability, security, consistency and effectiveness of companys network security infrastructure.
- Maintain and administer IT security devices such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, Intrusion prevention systems, Secure File transfer devices, Cloud-based security solutions, Privilege identity mgmt. systems etc.
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, strong conceptual and analytical skills along-with ability to work as an effective team member.
- Perform analysis of Network security infrastructure and contribute towards design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to identify risks and issues and create plans to mitigate and resolve them.
- Act as technical liaison with vendors to resolve issues within prescribed SLAs.
- Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and security policies and procedures.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Develop documentation, training tools, and knowledge base for issues and remediation steps for Tier 1/2 and service desk personnel.

Requirements

- At least 6 years of experience in Enterprise Network Security design, implementation and support.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience on various Security products like Firewalls, VPN Gateways , Load balancers, Internet Proxy, Routers, Switches (Checkpoint, Cisco, F5 etc.)
- Good experience in Network Security projects including gathering requirements, design, test, documentation, configuration and maintenance.
- Highly motivated and strong team player with excellent communication skills
- CCSA, CCSE (Checkpoint), / CCNP Security (Cisco) or equivalent technical certification is a must, CCIE / CISSP will have high preference.
- Must be able to work occasional weekends or after-office hours.
- A degree in Telecommunication or related discipline
- UAE Driving License
