Senior Network Specialist

Job description / Role

- Review and approve customer & general ledger transaction posting using the related computer system access provided
- Review and approve process inward / an outward payment for foreign currency / local currency by completing each days approved requests and provide confirmation
- Review all transactions against day to day end journal report, ensuring it is accurate
- Report any significant exceptions and/or deviations to department / division management for further instructions or guidance
- Monitor Departmental direct expenses and make efforts to eliminate waste and minimize expenses
- Regularly evaluate the operational processes and recommend to line management suitable changes to improve efficiency
- Verify and approve the reconciliation of transactions / accounts ensuring that corrective action is taken on outstanding items and escalate any long outstanding items
- Undertake training programs to improve knowledge in order to enhance role performance and provide training to junior staff under the cross functional training program
- Assist the unit head to maintain proper time standards, good team spirit and service standards
- Ensure the proper and organized filing / diary system of all department records is maintained and archival is done on a timely basis

Requirements

- 10 Years hands-on experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and troubleshooting of routing switching, , Unified Communication, Network Security and Data center network products & Technologies
- At least 3 years’ experience as senior Network engineer role with L3 experience of networking
- Experience in documentation preparation, review and execution such as HLD, LLD, NRFU, NIP, Action plan, daily/weekly check list etc.
- Experience in Data Center Migration at least part of one migration in last 2 years
- Should be able and ready to work additional/out of office hours and to be on call when required
- Should possess CCNP certification, CCIE is not mandatory but preferable
- Excellent communication skills, very good verbal and written English skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to perform under tight deadlines and high pressure
- Should be able to work with multiple teams, able to take ownership and communicate with internal/external parties and escalate to respective stakeholders whenever required

- Nexus 5XXX and 55XX, 60XX, 77XX and extenders 2xxx

Routers:
- Router starting from 2800 till ASR1000 platform
Network Load balancer:
- ACE and F5

Security:
- Cisco ISE, StoneGate, FortiGate, Cisco ACS

Wireless:
- Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points

Unified Communication:
- Cisco Unified Communication Manager, UCCX, IP Phones, Voice Gateway, PRI Lines etc.

Switching & Data Center:
- 6500VSS, Multi chassis Ether-channel, VPC, eVPC, OTV, LISP, STP, MSTP, Fabric path, fabric extender, ISSU,

Security:
- Network Device security hardening, Access List, AAA (ACS, Radius & TACACS), NAT, PAT, Network Admission
- Control (ISE) , 802.1x, MAC filtering, Private Vlans, GetVPN, IPSEC VPN

Routing:
- Eigrp, OSPF, BGP, route filtering, redistribution, PBR

Monitoring:
- Syslog, SNMP, Net-flow, RTMT, Network management system
