Job description / Role
Responsibilities
Support the leadership to develop and maintain a presence on digital media platforms by supporting web development strategies and monitoring performance to achieve marketing goals.
Content Management:
• Oversee the creation, editing, and updating of all website content, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
• Coordinate with internal teams and external content creators to produce high-quality content that engages users and drives conversions
• Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize and implement content marketing campaigns
Web Development & Design:
• Lead and manage web development and design projects, ensuring website functionality and aesthetics meet company standards
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies/vendors when necessary
• Ensure timely updates and modifications based on business needs
SEO & Analytics:
• Optimize website content and structure to achieve higher search engine rankings and improve organic traffic
• Implement SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search engine ranking
• Analyze web traffic and user behavior to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
User Experience:
• Ensure the website design is, a user-friendly experience across various devices and browsers, intuitive, and aligns with the company's brand image
• Regularly gather user feedback and make iterative improvements
• Test and optimize design elements to enhance user engagement
E-commerce & Product Management:
• Oversee all e-commerce activities, ensuring a smooth transaction process for users (if applicable)
• Spearhead the launch of new website features and ensure all features are working as intended
Technical Expertise:
• Must have hands-on experience with CMS platforms, especially Drupal and Sitefinity
• Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring the website's optimal performance and security in collaboration with the IT team
• Ensure the website is always up and running
Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to bring the website vision to life
• Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing & Communications team to align web strategies with broader marketing goals
• Coordinate with various departments, including sales, and IT, to ensure content and features align with broader company goals
Staying Updated:
• Stay abreast with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
• Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, Marketing, or related fields
• Any additional certification(s) relevant to the scope of work would be an advantage
• 4+ years of experience in digital content management, and website operations with at least 1+ years’ experience in the UAE
• Proven track record in managing high-traffic websites and producing engaging content
• Proven expertise with Drupal and Sitefinity CMS platforms
• Strong technical acumen, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve web platform issues
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and web analytics tools
• Experience in content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla)
• Good knowledge of web design principles and tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, Adobe Suite)
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken English is essential (Arabic preferred)
• Strong presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Organized and attention to detail
• Open-minded team player, willing to accept feedback and offer suggestions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas
