Senior Oracle DBA

The Role

One of the region’s leading construction and logistic companies are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join their company on a permanent basis.
You will be accountable for databases that are critical to the business systems. Our clients systems utilise Oracle technologies like RAC, DataGuard, ASM and MS-SQL databases. The Senior DBA will be responsible for administering Oracle 10g/11g and MS-SQL databases that run primarily on MS-Windows platforms.


You will have a minimum of five years as a Senior Oracle Administrator coupled with expert level proficiency in 10g/11g Oracle RAC, data guard, ASM, OEM and grid control. Proficiency in performance and tuning in a large database environment on Windows and Linux platforms.
A bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required and the candidate must possess excellent communication skills.
