Planning Manager / Senior Planning Manager - Dubai

Morgan McKinley have been exclusively retained by a leading Project Management Consultancy in Dubai, to assist them in recruiting an experienced Senior Planning Manager.

The role will be working on a high profile, large scale, mixed-use project compromising of a high rise residential tower along with a large shopping mall. As a result, the company have a preference for people with previous experience working on mall projects.

Responsibilities:
* Establish the Progress Measurement System (PMS) for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
* Prepare Baseline programme
* Update and monitor progress with the programme and PMS.
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports
* Manage sub contractor's project controls requirement
* Prepare Extension of time (EOT) programmes
* Determine potential delay claims

Requirements

* Experience in a planning role within the UAE or GCC
* Primavera 6 experience
* Experience in the preparation and update of the project control requirements with regards to scheduling, planning, and progress measurement
* Strong background in claims adjudication essential (either advancing or defending claims)
* In general terms, candidates should have UAE experience and ideally a mix of experience across retail, mall and mixed use large scale projects
* Experience working in a fixed fee consultancy desirable
