Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose: To support the Head of Products and Product Managers in achieving the portfolio growth objectives. Responsible for reducing pre-mature customer attrition by offering appropriate offers pertaining to retention & cross-sell, after obtaining due approvals from Product Managers and/or Head of Products.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive portfolio growth by identifying attrition reasons by engaging and retaining customers directly or through the network of personal bankers/ retention staff/ telesales/ call centre agents, as the case may be.
- Recommending retention packages for management approvals. Packages would be generic or specific.
- Propose and execute an efficient retention process, after carefully evaluating gaps and understanding dependencies both internal and external.
- Identifying gaps in portfolio growth opportunities; and suggesting solutions and packages for bridging the gaps.
- Reviews current retention propositions against market competitors and proposing recommendations for improvement.
- Lead a team of retention staff who would be customer facing. Team size is dependent on volumes.
- Drive retail portfolio growth and retention strategies across all channels of direct sales, branches, alternate channels, bank-at-work, etc.
- Support the increase size of retail portfolio base through delivery of enhanced propositions which grow the portfolio and reduce attrition.
- Support the Product Manager in interfacing with Sales, Ops, CCRD, IT, Marketing & other departments for rollout of product enhancements, policy changes, training of sales teams, documentation and planned campaigns.
- Carry out monthly market intelligence on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
- Work with Business Performance team for provision of timely, meaningful MIS from which recommendations for product improvement and enhancement can be made.
- Support Head of Products in preparation of the annual business plans for retail products.
- Job holder will carry financial and non-financial deliverables.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities that are consistent with the role as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any relevant field
- Minimum 4 years experience in similar positions
