Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, an international IT solutions provider, specializing in Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions are currently looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join their Dubai office. The purpose of the role is to drive the regional business objectives through technical expertise and and in playing an integral part in the winning of new business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Demonstrate products at an expert level
• Improve Sales demonstrations based on new or existing functionality
• Working with the Sales team to manage bids and compose responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ/SOW/Tenders directly to customers and through partners
• Technology enthusiast, keen to learn and demonstrate new technologies
• Communicate complex license mechanics and solutions in verbal and written form
• Bring in the relevant personnel in prospect meetings at the most opportune time to stress a point/capability
• Coordinate with other Technical Sales Managers in defining and developing collaterals that are necessary to win deals
• Keeping up to date on technology in the SAM Industry
• Able to travel (75%) in the UK Region for customer and partner meetings
• Public speaking and events

Remuneration:
The exact figure offered will depend on level of experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years' Software asset management experience
• 1-2+ years' experience installing and managing software
• Software training experience
• Proven understanding of solution selling
• Proven track record of technical selling into both new accounts and existing accounts
• Technical and business knowledge of ITIL
• Verbal, written and presentation skills
• Fluent in English (written & verbal)
• Excellent IT skills around client and server technologies

DESIRABLE:
• Understanding of at least one or more vendor license rules: Microsoft, IBM, SAP, Oracle, Symantec, Adobe
• Understanding the technical requirements of installing a SAM Solution
• Understanding of software asset management tools
• Understanding Licensing terminology including CORE/CPU/USER/DEVICE/VIRTULISATION
• XML, API ,SQL , PowerShell scripting
