Employment: Full Time

My client a leading bank based in Dubai, is seeking to appoint a Senior Private Banker to join their Corporate Banking division. Based in Dubai this is a great opportunity to progress your career within Corporate Banking.

Solid knowledge of banking, experience in credit analysis, branch management and ability to understand the complexities of several business lines related to the banking sector.

Substantial experience in Credit Structuring and Project Feasibility Assessment, preferably for Private Banking clients in the GCC.

End to end understanding of wealth management products and solutions for UHNW clients.

Highly experienced in Business Development and managing high profile clients, preferably gained working in multinational or large regional bank in the GCC.

Tactical thinking and strategic employment of sales plans within the framework of Private Banking clients.

Sophisticated financial and analytical abilities.

Understanding of Risk Assessment and Management methodologies and financial modeling.

Execution of sales strategies and initiatives gained in a large financial institution.

Sales management and leadership skills.

Detailed knowledge of profitability drivers in Banking.

Understanding of the complete business landscape i.e. People, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Sales.

Sound knowledge of Risk management, Legal, compliance and related matters.

Requirements

Outstanding management skills and the ability to work in a high pressure environment.

Aptitude to interact with an assorted group of professional’s e.g. Product Management, Credit Risk, and Credit Ops.

Must have a “Can Do” approach & lead by example.

Service Excellence orientation – Always striving for excellence and bringing best in class service to meet client needs.

Must be able to work across cultures.

Ability to handle pressure while managing multiple tasks.

English and Arabic is mandatory.

Develop and implements strategy's for optimizing revenue, profit across a full range of products aimed at the High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHMW) segment.

“A Hunter” Private Banking clients by utilizing personal contacts, referrals and a general prospect list
Actively engages clients to understand their full Banking requirements and providing appropriate solutions relying on the bank’s product platform.

Maintains a 24x7 availability to provide to all imperative and urgent business requirements of the clients
Consistently stays abreast of client’s personal and business banking developments to establish strong relationships and increase “share of wallet”.

Generates significant levels of cross-sell for Corporate Banking, Business Banking, Corporate Insurance Services and UAE – given the value of these clients and their businesses, the financial impact to the bank is expected to be substantial.

Guarantees that all compliance and sales management requirements (Internal and Regulatory) are observed to.

Works directly with Credit Assessment Manager to structure deals for Private Banking clients – a number of these deals are likely to be in the AED 100 million to AED 250 million range.

Prepare complete and timely credit analysis within laid down time frames and quality standards.

Check accuracy of financial spreads.

Take on industry studies and prepare comparisons to peer groups.

Ensure all proposals are in line with The Bank Credit Policy and Central Bank regulations.

Assist with perfection of security documents where required.

Lead the Annual Review of existing Large -Ticket loans to identify Risks & Mitigates.
