Senior Process Designer

Job description / Role

Wood is currently looking for a Senior Process Designer to join our team in Dubai, UAE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned Process design work as part of a multi-discipline project team
- Will be required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locations as per business needs.
- To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements.
- Should be proficient in P&ID As built activities.
- Knowledge of SP PID is preferable.
- Preparation and checking of all types of Process design deliverables such as PFD's, P&ID's and Process Safeguarding Diagrams
- Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD
- To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline
- To promote safe behavior at all times
- Experience in smart P&IDs

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Previous experience working on Iraq projects is preferential
- Previous Wood experience preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Excel and Word
- Experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design is required
- Experience in the preparation and co-ordination of Process design deliverables
- Compliance with industry, international and Client Codes and standards. Onshore Oil and Gas related Process design experience
- A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation
