Senior Process Engineer

The opportunity is there for a Senior Process Engineer to continue to support process engineering operations at a major refinery in the UAE.

The company is a national company within the UAE which focuses on refinery and downstream operations. It is a leader in oil refining and is playing a positive role in advancing the local economy and boosting income.

The project is a major refinery fulfilling the downstream requirements of the local oil and gas industry.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

Supervising jobs of Process Engineers and guides as required and providing process support for safe and trouble free operations of the units. Identifying process-related problems and plans suitable cost effective solutions and being a key contributor for improving refining margins. Reviewing plant modifications, new catalysts, chemicals and planning regeneration of catalysts and test runs as required.

Mentoring responsibilities of the fresh National graduate engineers (developees).

Requirements

- B.Sc. or BEng in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Processing Engineering
- 7 years` experience in process and utilities of Refineries, Petrochemical or Gas plant in Process engineering discipline
- Good knowledge of English both written and spoken
- Computer literate
