Job description / Role
Well known Construction company – cum Property Developer have a strong history of delivery projects in the UAE. Landmark projects including Residential, Commercial, Hospitality towers, as well as retail malls, integrated community projects all make up their portfolio.
Currently they require a Senior Project Director to join their team in UAE.
This individual will report into the Chairman, and will be responsible for managing multiple projects and overseeing all construction activities. Managing a lean team of direct reports, with overall man management of this large work force, this individual will ensure smooth delivery of projects, within time and budget deliverables.
This individual will be responsible for relationship management of clients, consultants and sub contractors of all projects, ensuring the organization is represented in the most professional manner.
Requirements
Based in the UAE, this Senior Construction professional will have around 20 years experience post graduation of a Degree, in Civil Engineering/Construction, ideally with Masters Degree in addition. UAE experience is essential, with proven project delivery of a variety of project types.
An excellent communicator, this person will be a bilingual communicator in Arabic and English, written and oral. Honed project management and people management skills will be proven over successful delivery of large scale fast track projects.
Commerical and financial management of largescale projects is also required.
Expert knowledge of UAE regulations and codes is required.
