Job description / Role
- Revered Design studio with landmark projects in the region, are seeking a Project Leader to oversee all construction activities of all projects.
- Office based, this individual will have each Project Manager of each project reporting into them, and oversee the delivery of these large scale, high end design projects.
- Overseeing the construction delivery, the contractual obligations of each project and managing relationships with external engineering consultants and contractors, they will also be responsible for setting up the Quality Assurance and Quality Control framework for the overall business.
This individual will have had experience overseeing large scale projects, based in the Middle East, from the beginning of construction to successful completion.
Requirements
- This person will be either a Degree Qualified Structural/Civil Engineer, or Architect, with around 20 years experience working for reputable, internationally respected Design consultancies.
- 5 years delivery experience in the Middle East, ideally Dubai is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience in setting up business practices is necessary.
- Implementing ISO9001 accreditation in a similar environment is ideal.
- Expertise in managing contracts via FIDIC in the UAE is necessary to ensure successful overall project completion via the project managers enforcing such standards.
This individual will have exceptional communication and negotiation skills to represent this highly respected Design practice at the top level to VIP Clients and on overall external relationships.
