Job description / Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Purchase Executive to join our Automotive and Distribution team in UAE-Dubai. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the Automotive and Distribution industry and should be able to handle the purchase of goods and services for the company’s operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor supplier performance and quality of goods and services in order to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Negotiate prices and terms of purchases with suppliers in order to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
• Review requisitions for goods and services and ensure that they are accurate and complete.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain records of purchased products.
• Track shipments and address any delays.
• Resolve any discrepancies and disputes with suppliers.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure that all necessary information is provided to suppliers.
• Track spending and research ways to reduce costs.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing or similar role.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of the Automotive and Distribution industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Languages: English, Korean and Japanese is a must
